切换Thinking about a Komodo diving trip? The Pinta Liveaboard offers an all-inclusive experience that combines stylish, affordable luxury with serious adventure. This beautiful Phinisi boat boasts a fast engine, meaning less travel time and more time enjoying the incredible destinations Komodo has to offer. We found it perfect for maximizing our exploration.
Komodo liveaboard trips run year-round, which is fantastic for flexibility. April to December is considered the high season, and during our trip, the water temperatures were a comfortable 26–29°C. We regularly experienced visibility up to 30 meters, which made every dive unforgettable. If manta rays are high on your list, the rainy season between December and February is often cited as the best time to see them in large numbers, though they are present year-round. Visibility peaks then too, often exceeding 30 meters in December and January. It’s truly a diver’s paradise whenever you go.
Diving Komodo: Underwater Wonders
Our Pinta Liveaboard Komodo all-inclusive diving trip covered a fantastic range of sites. A 7-night itinerary is popular for good reason; it allows you to truly discover Komodo’s best dive spots. We hit iconic locations like Manta Point, Batu Bolong, and Wainilu. Manta Alley was incredible, with seasonal feeding bringing dozens of mantas together – an absolute spectacle. Batu Bolong lived up to its reputation, teeming with reef sharks, giant trevally, and Napoleon wrasse. At Crystal Rock, schools of fusiliers and sweetlips created vibrant underwater landscapes. Manta Point delivered exactly what its name promises, with oceanic mantas gracefully circling cleaning stations. Each dive offered something unique and breathtaking.
Beyond the Reef: Komodo Dragon Trek and More
The Pinta Liveaboard experience isn’t just about diving. Our all-inclusive package included thrilling land excursions. A definite highlight was trekking to see the Komodo dragons. We visited both Komodo and Rinca islands, witnessing these prehistoric creatures in their natural habitat – an awe-inspiring experience. Another must-do is hiking Padar Island for its panoramic views; the layered colored beaches and turquoise waters are simply stunning. And of course, no Komodo trip is complete without a visit to Pink Beach, one of only seven in the world. The Pinta Liveaboard delivers a comprehensive Komodo adventure, both above and below the surface.
For arrangements, a specialist offering Labuan Bajo trip can coordinate this end to end.
