Where most trips spend their time — mantas, coral gardens and turtle-heavy shallows.

The Rock with a Hole. Small on the surface, enormous underneath — a living aquarium of coral, reef fish, sharks and Napoleon wrasse.

Three kilometres of rubble and cleaning stations. This is the manta stop — reef mantas, eagle rays and marble rays.

Coral reef and sandy slope with anemonefish, octopus and mantis shrimp. Reef mantas call in to be cleaned.

Turtle City. Green turtles everywhere, plus cuttlefish, sweetlips and macro life in the sand. Good for any level.

The Big Smile. Table corals, huge sponges and soft coral in every colour, with fusiliers and hawksbill turtles over the slope.

Muck diving near the mangroves. Frogfish, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, blue-ringed octopus and wonderpus. Bring the macro lens.
