Never tried diving before but curious about what it’s like and what you can see underwater? Or maybe you haven’t had the time to complete your certification yet? No worries! That’s where the “Diving Liveaboard” experience comes in. With the Discover Scuba Diver Training, you’ll get a basic introduction to diving from your instructor. This includes learning key safety rules, understanding your equipment, and picking up some essential skills to dive safely.
As you head toward the dive site, your instructor will explain everything you need to know. Once you reach the first dive spot, you’ll practice some fundamental safety skills before venturing deeper into the underwater world. With the guidance of your instructor, you’ll be exploring the stunning marine life in no time. Don’t stress – your instructor will always be right there to support you. The dive sites are easy to navigate, yet full of amazing things to see, making Komodo the perfect spot to try diving for the first time!

The Open Water Course is your gateway to becoming a certified diver. Over the course of 3 days, you’ll learn everything you need to dive safely and responsibly, both in theory and through hands-on practice in confined and open water. You’ll work closely with your instructor and dive buddies, learning the ins and outs of diving.
On day one, you’ll dive into the theory using the latest Open Water Diver Manual (also available for e-learning). Then, you’ll head into open water, where you’ll practice all the essential skills before mastering them completely. By the end of the 3-day course, after completing the exams, you’ll earn your Open Water Certification. This certification will allow you to dive safely up to a depth of 18 meters. Whether you’re looking to dive on a liveaboard or explore the ocean on your own, this course is your first step into the exciting world of diving!
The Advanced Open Water Diver course takes your diving skills to the next level, helping you become more confident and comfortable underwater in just 2 days. This course is perfect for divers looking to expand their knowledge of safety and explore new ways to dive.
With your PADI Instructor, you’ll complete 5 different adventure dives. Before heading into the water, you’ll review the theory behind each dive and discuss it with your instructor. The dives you’ll experience include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Dive, Drift Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, Fish Identification
Each dive is designed to enhance your skills and provide a deeper understanding of the underwater world. Whether you’re exploring new dive sites on a liveaboard or continuing your diving journey, this course will prepare you for more advanced diving adventures.
We always recommend refreshing your diving skills if you haven’t been underwater for a while. This course is designed as a combination of a regular fun dive day trip and a skills refresher. On the way to your dive site, you’ll go over some important theory, and during your first dive, you’ll practice essential safety skills to ensure you’re comfortable and confident in the water.
Once you’ve refreshed those key skills, you’ll dive into the vibrant marine life of Komodo National Park for a fun and immersive diving experience. Whether you’re back on a liveaboard or just enjoying a day trip, this course ensures you’re ready to explore the underwater world safely and with ease.
